    Thats coz people at small stakes have no concept of folding a hand if they have a lonely top pair they will call your all in ! patience is key at them small stakes for sure but its too boring waiting round for hands.Your better off playing 1 and 2 dollar for the grind any lower than that and you in donkey terriotary..
    This is funny with Hellmuth , this guy has no patience , he is fresh meat at these cash games , good tourney player but shit cash gamer..

    @nemeth2009

    It will be interesting to see how he does in this game. His performance at PAD was sad.

    Also be interesting to see how everyone adapts to Dwan, who always looks very good.

    Exactly. Phil doesn’t balance his range enough so, 1. He gets no action on his big hands, and 2. gets robbed left, right and centre.

    Patience might get you into the cash, if you’re running okay.

    However, balls, reads and perfect timing are the only things that get you the win.

    what he said doesnt even make sense. if you are patient and wait for big aces then its harder to hit flops that if you play a wider range of suited/connected cards.

    of course it will make you harder to beat, but not post flop where your range is polarised and an opponent can easily have you beat unless you have a monster

    Patience is key. I see that in my own. When I get impatient I play loose and make donkey moves and get busted. When I’m patient I’ll win far more.
